With the release this week of Eminem’s new album Recovery, “Love the Way You Lie,” the expected second single from the project, has roared to the top of the iTunes sales chart. The song features a vocal performance from Rihanna. At this point it looks like “Love the Way You Lie” could be a second #1 pop single from Recovery for Eminem. If that happens, it will be the first time in his career he has had two #1 pop singles from one album. The song is certainly compelling and may fit even better on pop radio playlists than the first single “Not Afraid.” Look for a powerful #1 debut next week on the album chart for Eminem with potential for opening sales of over 500,000.
